Between 1996 and 1998, I created a series of icons and desktop patterns that showed up on Shareware Disks in the US, Japan and Europe. My NeXT folders and my patterns were mentioned in MacAddict magazine. It was a fun period that resulted in contacts that I still maintain to this day. It is the friendship and comaraderie that I love most about the Mac community. I have kept this page alive so that people may still have access to this work.
Enjoy the feast, and thank you for your support, Michael
Desktops for discriminating taste!
Remember the days of OS 7 and desktop patterns. To use pictures you had to use shareware programs. These patterns are 24bit and were created in Phtoshop. Almost all are seamless. Some people have used then as backgrounds for websites.
These can be used in OS X, though I have to admit I enjoy pictures too much.
Be sure to visit My Art for soon to be released desktop images.
Folders Galore!
These folders were designed for use in OS 9 and earlier. These are classic 8bit icons. I can remember spending many hours putting all of these together. At the time, too many hours....according to my wife!
